Ways of Seeing

This part of the Library is the backbone of Integral Seeing. It looks directly at the structures of consciousness – magic, mythic, mental and integral – and asks how they shape what feels real, sane and possible to us. Instead of assuming there is just “one world” that everyone views more or less accurately, these essays explore how different ways of seeing quietly generate different worlds.

Here you’ll find foundations: plain-language accounts of the structures, pieces on sense-making, and analyses of why the modern mental picture of the world is overstretched. The aim is not to give you yet another system to memorise, but to help you recognise, in your own life, when you are in a magical mood, a mythic script, a mental problem-solver – and what an integral stance might actually feel like from the inside.
